Chapter 1: The 4 Together


The bell rang for P.E. Nadera was so glad as USSR was very boring. All the girls went to the toilet to change. Once everyone had changed, Mr.Zaihan brought the class to the field as usual. He then told the class to run 3 rounds around the field."But you used to sy 2 rounds!", the class complained."One more complain and it would be 5 rounds!", Mr.Zaihan replied. With groans and mumbles, the class started to run. Together at the field with them was a sec 3 class having P.E. too. When Nadera, who had run ahead of her friends, passed a group of the Sec 3s', one of them signalled to her. Nadera turned to look. The sec 3 guy pointed to another guy and asked. "Look at this boy. Do you like him?". Smiling, Nadera ran past them and she heared the guy shout,"She has rejected you la!!". She finished her 3 rounds and waited for her friends. She thought to herself that she was already happy with the guy she likes now. She dosen't need another guy. When her friends returned, they started playing badminton together with the other girls and some boys while the other boys went to play soccer on the field. Time flew past and soon, the bell rang for recess. They returned their badminton rackets and went to the canteen for their recess.


As usual, they went to but chicken rice and went to a quite clean table and chair to eat. As they sat down to eat( accept Zahira who did not buy anything), Deborah took out her handphone and waited. "Waiting for Firdaus to sms as usual?", Nisa asked, eating her food. "Yup!". Deborah replied, still not eating. "Here, give me you phone and start eating", Zahira replied."Thanks", Deborah said and she finally started to eat. When they were halfway through their meal, Deborah's handphone vibrated. "He has sms!", Zahira informed Deborah. "yes!", said Deborah. After finishing their food, Deborah read the sms with glee. But suddenly, her face fell and she staretd to shake and shiver."What's wrong?", Zahira asked. Deborah handed her handphone to her and she read it. It said,"I'm not joking. This is for real. Help me plea". "What does ple mean??", Zahira asked. Nadera took the handphone from her and she and Nisa read the SMs."I think it stands for please", Nadera replied. "He hasn't even finished typing out the message! This is serious! What if he was kidnapped??!!", Deborah cried, as she took back her handphone. Then, her handphone vibrated again."It says 'Northern Islands, Link cave'! So he really has been kidnapped!", Deborah cried. "Don't cry Deborah", consoled Zahira. "What do we do?", Nisa asked."Save him ofcourse!", cried Deborah." What?! Go to Northern Islands?! That's miles away!", said Nisa. "Well, it's her boyfriend we are talking about. Of course she wants to save him", Nadera said. But they could not discuss anymore as the bell rang for the end of recess.
