Chapter 4: Missed!!

“Ring!!!” the alarm clock rang. The Sun was shining brightly. It was 9.00am. Deborah woke up and got ready to save her darling Firdaus. She met up with the others at the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. When she arrived, the other 3 were talking with their boyfriends. “Hi Deborah!” they greeted. Deborah looked very eager to save Firdaus. She was happy that everything had gone according to plan.

When they arrived at Northern Islands, they walked towards the Dark Cave and entered. Nisa was holding Legolas’s hand so tightly while the others walked calmly into the cave. She was frightened because the cave was so dark even though the Sun was bright outside. Legolas tried to comfort her. “Look at them, so romantic! Haha…” Zahira said to Baihakki. “Why? Jealous?” Nadera teased Zahira. They stopped their jokes as Nisa was staring at them. “Firdaus!” Deborah cried out when she saw him. Firdaus turned and smiled. Vikram took his knife and cut the rope which was tied to him. “Let’s get out of here, quick!” Legolas said. The kidnapper was no where in sight. “Maybe he is with the boss?” Nisa suggested. “Firdaus, do you know who kidnapped you?” Baihakki asked. They started walking out of the cave. “No, hmm…but maybe it was one of our girlfriend’s enemy…” Firdaus said. They were all thinking who the person might be. Who would kidnap a lovely, caring, kind man like Firdaus. He is a really very nice guy. What does the person want with him? Who could be the master mind of this? The Boss? Who is he?

“AHHH!!! Cockroach!” Zahira shouted. She quickly held Baihakki’s hand tightly. “Shh!!” Baihakki silenced her. “Keep quiet! What if they heard us?!” Nadera said angrily. “I am so sorry. You guys know I am very afraid of cockroaches’ right? I am really sorry. I did not mean to shout aloud” Zahira apologized. “Next time, hug him when frightened…” Deborah teased. Suddenly, before they realized it, two men stood inform of them. Vikram shined his torchlight onto their faces. “Oh my! It is you! It’s really you!” Deborah cried. We were all puzzled and speechless. The two men were Ghazali and Senthil. From the looks of it, Ghazali was the boss and Senthil was the helper. Then, everything started to come together. Ghazali was jealous of Firdaus, so he asked Senthil to help him kidnap Firdaus. “Yes! It’s me! So what??!!” Ghazali said arrogantly. But then, all of them felt a knock on their heads and all of them fainted. What will happen next? Will Firdaus be saved? Will they get out of the Dark Cave alive and in time? Keep on reading!
Chapter 3: The Rescue

Lucky enough, the other 3 agreed. Deborah was very happy. But Nadera, being the smart one, was a little unsure. “I am not sure if we can make it. What if we get caught? What if our parents find out? If Deborah’s parents find out about her boyfriend, what will they do? Did you all ever thought of that?” asked Nadera. After giving it some taught, the 3 girls began to see it her way. “Forget it! If you do not want to see my boyfriend, Firdaus, then don’t come! I will get some other people to help me; like Firdau’s friends! Vikram, Baihakki, oh ya! And Legolas too!” said Deborah. She started crying. “Don’t cry! Anyway, if they are coming, we are definitely going too!” cried out the 3, thinking of them. “Wah, Legolas…so handsome! I Love Legolas!” exclaimed Nisa. Zahira frowned at Nisa. The 3 started to think how it would be like to find out that their boyfriends had been kidnapped. They started to feel sorry for Deborah, so they decided to help. It was set. They planned out the details and decided to go to the Dark Cave tomorrow morning. They said goodbye to each other and left. No one could sleep that night as they were all excited. Deborah was excited because she was going to see Firdaus. Nadera was excited because of Vikram, Nisa for Legolas and Zahira for baihakki. They eventually went to sleep with sweet dreams of their boyfriends.

“Ring!” the alarm clock rang. Deborah woke up bright and early. She looked at her clock. It showed 7.30 on its face. She got out from bed and packed her stuff. She then sms Zahira, Nisa and Nadera to see if they were awake. They were awake! So, bringing the food and medical kit (just in case) for Firdaus, she left her house. She met them at Tanah Merah ferry terminal and from there; they took a ferry to northern Islands. They stood outside the Dark Cave, looking at it in horror. It looked so dark and creepy even with the Sun shining brightly. “Are you sure you want to go inside?” asked Nadera, who looked like she was about to cry. “Are you kidding me? Of course we have to! Firdaus is inside all by himself! My poor darling! We have to go inside now!” cried Deborah. “Okay,” said Nadera, trying to gather up some courage. So slowly, they took, step by step, into the cave. Zahira took out her torchlight and led the way. It was the first time she was brave enough to do something like this. After walking for a while, Deborah bumped into something. Zahira immediately shined her torchlight in her direction. “It’s Firdaus!!” “No, it’s not Deborah! It’s the guys. You made it!” said Nisa. So they split into groups and continued the search for him. After what seemed like hours, Nisa and Deborah found him. Nisa called and informed the others to meet outside the cave. She and Deborah gave some food to Firdaus and treated his wounds. Deborah was delighted to see Firdaus still alive. She told Firdaus their plan of coming back tomorrow to rescue him. Suddenly, they heard footsteps. Nisa and Deborah ran to hide behind a boulder.

It was the kidnapper, with tattoos on his arms, scars on his face. He looked so scary and mean from behind that they were taken aback. After he whispered some words to Firdaus, he left. Nisa and Deborah went back to Firdaus and asked what the kidnapper had said. “He said, by tomorrow, at 7pm, I’ll be toast for dinner!: he replied. Nisa and Deborah were frightened. They packed their stuff to get ready to leave, but ready to come back tomorrow, bright and early. So, they said goodbye and left. After a few minutes, as they knew their way, they met up with the rest and were on their way. Nisa and Deborah then told them what happened with Firdaus and told them about the kidnapper. “The kidnapper did look quite familiar…” Nisa said. Once they all reached home, they were thinking about what had happened. The one question on everyone’s mind was, ‘will new be able to save Firdaus?’ .They were all unsure. But today’s adventure had made them so tired and exhausted that they went to sleep the moment their heads touched the pillows, without eating. But they were ready for the action tomorrow. The day Deborah’s darling, Firdaus would be saved.
